Amazon carries the beauty of her mother and the attitude of her father! She came into this world ready to take anything on like a little warrior. She was called "The Amazonian Nightmare" just after arrival due to her willingness to take charge and feed herself after birth without any little nudges or direction given by the midwives. She was also very pushy and vocal towards her littermates when it came to feeding time…she never missed a meal! As Amazon is getting older, it is clear that she thinks she reigns supreme, even over me, and from time to time her elders set her straight. Amazon's success in the show ring is nothing less than spectacular, going undefeated in the classes from Bred By Exhibitor. She beat her mother's amazing show record by one show, finishing in just 2 weekends with a total of 5 shows, all at 6 months of age! She has shown great potential on the lure coursing field as well, so I look forward to her first weekend of running when she turns a year old. Maybe she will follow in her mother's footsteps and pick up a BIF her first time out! For now, Amazon is enjoying all the splendors of puppy hood and is growing into a beautiful example of the breed.
